Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Analytical
Chemist to join our growing team. The Senior Chemist Performs advanced analytical testing of dietary supplement, cosmetic, personal care, and related products using established and emerging analytical methodologies. Responsible for generating, interpreting, and reviewing analytical data; troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation; supporting method development and validation activities; and serving as a technical resource within the laboratory. Ensures compliance with quality, accreditation, and regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex analytical testing using techniques including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES,
    UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, gravimetric analysis, and other approved methodologies.
  • Prepare samples, standards, reagents, calibration solutions, and quality control materials in accordance with
    approved procedures.
  • Review, interpret, and evaluate analytical data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality
    requirements.
  • Identify atypical, out-of-specification (OOS), or questionable results and assist with investigations, root cause
    analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Operate, calibrate, maintain, qualify, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ
    activities as applicable.
  • Participate in proficiency testing and quality assurance activities required by ISO 17025 and other accreditation
    standards.
  • Maintain analytical records, instrument logs, calibration records, and quality documentation in accordance with
    regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Assist in the development, optimization, validation, and implementation of analytical methods and laboratory
    procedures.
  • Draft, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical
    documentation.
  • Serve as a technical resource for laboratory personnel and provide guidance on analytical methodologies,
    instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Train and mentor laboratory personnel on laboratory techniques, instrumentation, quality systems, and
    laboratory procedures.
  • Cross-train across multiple laboratory functions and provide operational support as needed.
  • Assist laboratory leadership with workflow coordination, technical problem solving, and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with Quality, Operations, Customer Service, and other departments to support
    organizational objectives.
  • Plan and prioritize workload to meet established turnaround times, customer expectations, and business
    needs.
  • Learn and implement new technologies, analytical techniques, and best practices as appropriate.
