This is a full-time, on-site position in Burbank, CA, for a Title Assistant. The Title Assistant will assist in processing title and escrow documents, supporting title and escrow officers in day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth transactions. Responsibilities include organizing, reviewing, and processing title & real estate documents to ensure compliance and accuracy, providing exceptional customer service to clients, and collaborating effectively with team members to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach is essential in this role.
- Strong experience in the real estate closing processes, review and abstracting of title insurance documents including deeds, deeds of trust, lender instructions, etc.
- Customer friendly and solution-oriented thought process
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of Real Estate Documents, Notary and Escrow functions or certifications is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Accounting processes related to title and escrow transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in the title and escrow industry.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Previous experience in the title or real estate or escrow industry is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in related fields are a plus.
- Pay Range $75,000-$97,000 per year (or more) dependent upon title unit closings and market conditions.
