JOBSUMMARY
We are seeking a Laboratory Data Assistant for a temporary role to provide technical documentation management support to the R&D Manager. The role is fully on‑site in Burbank, CA and is expected to last 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Procurement of technical documents from ingredient and packaging vendors in support of product registration
- Maintain a detailed spreadsheet of document retrieval checking against request dates to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Review technical documents for critical information and address any deficiencies with vendors
- Additional duties given by the R&D Manager
- Additional duties to assist the VP Regulatory and Quality with uploading documentation into regulatory databases to meet project timelines
- Must have an Associate’s or a Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline; or 3 to 5 years of experience within a scientific or academic environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detailed follow‑up on outstanding items to achieve workload targets
- The ability to remain flexible and adjust to multiple priorities
- Strong follow‑up and persuasion skills needed to achieve deliverables
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
