Territory Account Manager (TAM) – Long-acting HIV Prevention Sales Team

ViiV Healthcare is seeking an experienced, results‑driven professional to lead sales efforts in a fast‑paced, complex environment. The role requires partnering cross‑functionally, remaining adaptable in a launch context, and developing strategic business plans that achieve measurable objectives within territory and account level goals. Successful outcomes include selling to healthcare professionals, servicing their accounts, and working within an integrated account management framework for a buy‑and‑bill treatment model.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver results through exceptional sales and service
  • Identify, target, and win new business by influencing healthcare professionals to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities within target accounts
  • Leverage data analytics and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects
  • Prepare and execute tailored business plans that help healthcare professionals scale their treatment model to reach more patients
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators and Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience
  • Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops to ensure a cohesive experience for customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing healthcare professional problems, needs, and requests
  • Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and problem‑solving
  • Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
  • Act in ways consistent with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values
  • Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and address setbacks as learning opportunities
  • Escalate issues and risks when needed and speak up with courage
  • Understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • 3+ years specialty sales experience
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight travel; majority of time spent in market
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sales success in complex market access coverage situations
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals to procure, manage, and administer cold‑chain treatment products
  • Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)
  • Experience partnering cross‑functionally within an integrated account team model that includes multiple field‑based team members
Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $145,500 to $242,500. The range takes into account work location, candidate skills, experience, education, and market rate. In addition to base salary, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care and other insurance for employee and family, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver, parental, and medical leave.
