The Global Security Control Center (GSCC) Dispatcher is responsible for communicating and executing strategies to ensure the safety, security, and protection of all Disney personnel, business operations, assets, and brands. The role requires calm crisis communication and coordination of resources to mitigate impact on the company.

• Use critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and sound judgment to facilitate communications and provide solutions to incidents and events affecting Disney staff.
• Transmit two‑way radio communication and circulate information via radio, telephone, e‑mail, and web.
• Aid and support employees and guests through a triage of local and global security issues.
• Triage emergency alarms and access control systems company wide, deploying resources as needed.
• Respond to priority calls, promptly and accurately identifying emergency situations.
• Create and monitor visitor requests for entry into the visitor management system.
• Maintain proficiency of GSCC systems for incident management, emergency notification, visitor management, camera management, and access control systems.

• Experience working in a Control or Security Operations Center related operation.
• Excellent multi‑tasking ability, receiving and relaying direction while coordinating several incidents simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with company personnel, executives, guests, and law enforcement.
• Consistently maintain confidentiality and professionalism while transitioning between calm and highly active work conditions.
• Active listening skills and teamwork; able to work independently under minimal supervision when necessary.
• Flexible availability for a rotating or on‑call schedule, including weekends, holidays and/or third shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM; 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; or 10:00 PM–6:30 AM).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and demonstrated typing proficiency.
• Valid California BSIS issued Guard Card License, or the ability to obtain one.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license.

• Previous work experience in law enforcement, security, fire, and/or a medical related field.
• Completed coursework and/or certifications in related areas.
• Experience with incident management software and computer‑aided dispatching systems.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal security and emergency management systems.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

The hiring rate for this position in Burbank, California is $26.39 per hour. The base pay offered will account for internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‐related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
