Overview

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Manager, Security for the Western Region & Canada. The role includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, ensuring security personnel are trained and equipped, and overseeing a security team in collaboration with WBD Global Security and other departments.

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a Manager, Security for our Western region. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of effective security policies and procedures to safeguard assets and personnel, while ensuring that all security personnel are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties. The manager will oversee a team of security personnel and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the organization.

• Assist the Director of the Western Region & Canada by providing both security administrative and operational support for company facilities within the region.
• Facilitate communications with security staff, address inquiries, and provide guidance to foster trust between employees and management.
• Collaborate with the Vice President and Director to develop strategies and response techniques for emergency situations across a range of scenarios.
• Interact with Labor Relations, People and Culture, and other WBD representatives to manage personnel issues related to security operations.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures relating to security operations in the Western Region & Canada.
• Develop and maintain programs for security awareness and briefings to keep employees informed on security matters.
• Execute other duties as assigned to support WBD Global Security and ensure effective security operations in the Western Region & Canada.

• 5+ years of progressive administrative or managerial experience in a public service agency or security environment (e.g., law enforcement, security, fire). Candidates may also have an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent security experience.
• Preferred certifications: POST, BSIS, and Physical Security Professional PSP (ASIS).

Compensation disclosure:
Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $ per year. Actual salaries vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. Benefits include health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, paid holidays and vacation.
