Servi-Tek Engineering is currently seeking a BOMA Certified Journeyman to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced building engineer with a strong understanding of commercial facility operations, preventive maintenance, and building systems.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems
- Conduct daily inspections and log operational data
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot building system issues
- Collaborate with property management and tenants to deliver high-quality service
- Support sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives
- Active BOMA Journeyman/ Local 501 BOMA Certification required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial building operations
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
