SCREENX​/DX Installation Lead

The SCREENX and 4DX Installation Supervisor will oversee the installation of CJ 4

DPLEX’s premium format cinema systems and provide field service on existing and new SCREENX and 4DX systems.

• Supervise the installation of SCREENX and 4DX systems in new and existing cinema auditoriums, including the installation of video projectors, motion chair assemblies and audio-visual equipment racks.
• Verify auditoriums meet CJ 4
  
  DPLEX facility requirements as defined in the CJ 4
  
  DPLEX design drawings.
• Perform network connections between SCREENX and 4DX systems and exhibitor’s cinema systems.
• Calibrate and commission the SCREENX and 4DX systems.
• Perform system Test & Adjust and Operator Training.
• Support SCREENX and 4DX theater grand openings.
• Provide field service on SCREENX and 4DX systems, evaluating, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification in electronics, engineering or a related field preferred.
• Three years of technical and installation experience, preferably in the cinema or audio-visual industry.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of construction practices.
• Strong understanding of networked audiovisual systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable working from scaffolding and lifts.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Available to travel 50%

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation range: $70,000~$100,000.

We adhere to all applicable local laws regarding salary transparency and disclose ranges where legally required. The final offer will depend on a variety of factors including market conditions, candidate experience, internal equity, and other relevant considerations. Offers at the top end of the range are uncommon.
