Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer

Software Engineer – Burbank, CA

Immediate, long‑term contract (16+ months). 4 days per week on‑site, Fridays remote. Pay rate: $80–$86/hr DOE.

• Architecture – building applications front end/back end using Angular, React, and other frameworks.
• Critical problem‑solving skills; familiarity with Informatica is a plus.
• Experience with workday upgrades.

• Read, analyze, design, build, test and debug system integration applications focused on HR data between internal and external systems.
• Design and implement applications using Web Services methodologies such as XML, XSLT, JSON, XPath and related technologies.
• Build user‑friendly interfaces with scripting languages and front‑end frameworks.
• Develop and manage server‑side programming and APIs.
• Manage databases for HR data across technology landscape for subscribing systems.
• Participate in project and Dev Ops delivery from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Lead business and stakeholder teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform fit‑gap analysis to identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors, Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure teams on projects and day‑to‑day deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members to ensure deliverables are met.
• Analyze data points to influence critical decisions.
• Build and foster client & peer relationships.
• Lead support teams to troubleshoot critical incidents, conducting root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to impact analysis during application release cycles.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of integrations and applications.

• Minimum 5+ years experience developing software applications.
• Minimum 5+ years hands‑on experience configuring systems.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with technologies such as OData, REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, CSV, XML, JSON, XSL, and encryption standards (PGP, X509).
• Minimum 5+ years working with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and libraries such as React, Angular, jQuery.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in server‑side languages such as .NET, Java, Ruby, and Python.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in API development using web services and SOA methodologies.
• Minimum 3+ years experience with database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo
  
  DB, MySQL) and caching mechanisms.
• Expertise in comprehensive testing lifecycle (Unit, UAT, Regression, Defect Remediation).
• Comfortable with Agile and Waterfall development life cycles.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and other SDLC methodologies.
• Expertise in secure software development and secure coding practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams.
