Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Next.js)

Employment Type: Contract with potential for full-time conversion

I'm partnering with an established organization that is beginning the architecture and design phase of a major website modernization initiative. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Next.js) who enjoys building modern, scalable applications and wants to help shape the technical direction of a high-impact platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and enhance modern web applications using Next.js, React, and ASP.NET Core
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of a large website redesign
• Develop REST APIs and backend services using C#
• Work across the full application stack (approximately 50% frontend / 50% backend)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate applications with headless CMS platforms
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools, including Git Hub Copilot and Cursor

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Next.js, and React
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience integrating with a headless CMS (Contentful experience is a plus but not required)
• Familiarity with Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Ability to serve as a senior technical contributor and SME
• Experience participating in application architecture and technical design
