Temp to Hire Opportunity

The Inventory Controller II plays a key role in keeping our warehouse organized, accurate, and running efficiently. In this hands‑on position, you’ll manage inventory flow, maintain accurate stock levels, and help ensure materials are received, stored, labeled, and distributed properly across the organization.

You’ll work closely with the Logistics Manager to support day‑to‑day warehouse operations, improve inventory processes, and maintain a clean, secure, and well‑organized warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and taking ownership of inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately and on time
  • Maintain organized warehouse inventory and ensure accurate inventory tracking in company systems
  • Store, label, and manage materials using efficient warehouse and FIFO practices
  • Perform inventory counts, reconciliations, and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Stage materials and equipment for field personnel pickup and track inventory movement
  • Process purchase orders and verify correct products and quantities received
  • Handle RMA returns, vendor credits, and return‑to‑stock processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, reports, and CRM data
  • Support warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and inventory control processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years inventory management
  • 1+ years purchasing
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
  • Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking, decision making and problem‑solving skills
  • Planning and organizational abilities
  • Adept in using all forms of technology
  • Valid California driver license and proof of valid car insurance
  • Ability to travel within Southern California to other company/customer locations (if needed)
  • Available to work overtime (when requested/needed)
  • Punctuality and regular attendance (required)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily
  • Ability to make repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, daily
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
  • Move/Transport items weighing 50+ pounds, occasionally
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations
  • Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
  • Stand or Sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
