Audit Manager

Assurance Manager and Senior Manager Opportunity - 100% REMOTE (Washington or Oregon)

Our client, a well-established and growing public accounting firm, is seeking an Assurance Manager or Assurance Senior Manager to join its expanding assurance practice.

The firm is open to hiring at either level based on experience, technical expertise, leadership background, and demonstrated success managing client engagements.

*** While this is a 100% Remote Opportunity, candidates must be based in either Washington State or Oregon to be considered. A CPA-License is also Required***

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage assurance engagements throughout the full engagement lifecycle, ensuring appropriate stakeholder involvement, timely execution, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and firm methodologies.
• Evaluate complex accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters, providing recommendations and guidance to clients, engagement teams, and firm leadership.
• Manage engagement economics, including pricing, budgeting, billing, scope management, staffing, resource allocation, and profitability objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and key stakeholders through proactive communication regarding engagement status, audit findings, accounting developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
• Support business development initiatives by strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, supporting cross-selling efforts, and assisting with new business development opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff and senior associates through engagement supervision, performance feedback, coaching, internal training, and career development guidance.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license Required
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, financial reporting, and audit methodologies.
• Manager Level: 5+ years of recent public accounting experience in assurance, audit, or attest services with demonstrated progression in responsibility and engagement leadership.
• Senior Manager Level: 7+ years of recent public accounting experience with significant experience leading complex engagements, managing client relationships, and developing staff.
