[DOC WFSE Monthly Salary Range 39: $3,630.00 to $4,833.00]
Responsibilities- Provide front desk reception on a rotational basis, including greeting and directing clients, the general public, and stakeholders to appropriate staff.
- Manage a multi‑line phone system and office equipment/supplies.
- Ensure the public entry door is opened at 8:00 am and closed and locked at 5:00 pm.
- Maintain and manage electronic and physical files, including database entry and retrieval from systems such as OMNI and OnBase.
- File and archive closed DOC field files.
- Provide general office support to the Community Corrections Supervisor (CCS) and Community Corrections Officers (CCOs).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work independently on complex clerical projects and assignments while performing duties at the reception desk.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six months of clerical and/or customer service experience.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist individuals with various criminal backgrounds.
- Navigate internal databases.
- Proofread written material and correct errors in sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.
- Communicate effectively and clearly to staff, supervisors, public, and stakeholders.
- Two years of clerical experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The position may eventually allow up to one day of telework per week. Employees must use a reliable internet or cellular hotspot service at an authorized location within Washington. Telework is contingent upon having an approved telework agreement and is subject to business needs.
You will be required to commute to a DOC facility or field office as business requires, including onboarding and training processes. Details will be provided before hire.
