Independent Contractor - Licensed Massage Therapist

This opportunity will be available starting August 2026 (depending on your requested work hours, you can start sooner)

I am a licensed massage therapist and studio renter transitioning to part-time and looking for one qualified, licensed massage therapist to share a beautiful, private treatment space in Burien, WA. This studio is already furnished and fully functional, you would just need to provide your own personal massage supplies/linens and scheduling program/payment collection.

This is a great opportunity for an independent therapist who wants a calm, professional space to build or maintain their own practice without the overhead of a full studio. As I will be part-time and then on maternity leave, you will have access to my current massage clientele in the south Seattle, Burien, Des Moines areas along with your own clientele you decide to bring in.

This space is located on private property so you and your clients must be respectful and responsible for landlord requests.

$560/month flat rent, OR
$300/month + two (2) 90-minute massages per month provided to the studio owners
Hours and days are negotiable, making this ideal for someone part-time or growing their client base.

• Must be currently licensed massage therapist in Washington State
• Carry your own liability insurance
• Operate as an independent contractor / your own business
• Maintain a professional, respectful presence in a shared space
• Well trained in therapeutic/medical massage. Experience working in medical offices (Chiropractic, PT, OT is highly recommended)
