These positions are open to Internal King County Department of Information Technology (KCIT) employees and eligible Priority Placement participants ONLY. Only current KCIT employees and eligible Priority Placement participants will be considered. King County's Radio Communication Services (RCS) team is seeking Electronic Communication Technician II's. RCS provides regional radio subscriber support for the Puget Sound Emergency Radio Network (PSERN) Motorola Project 25 800 MHz trunked radio system end user agencies.
Also, provides subscriber support of UHF/VHF conventional resources for on campus communications. These positions will perform skilled technical work programming, installing, repairing and maintaining land mobile radio equipment and related auxiliary equipment, mobile data devices and fixed site equipment. Work is performed in both shop and field environments for users of the regional radio systems such as the King County Sheriff’s Office as well as a wide variety of other government agencies.
