American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Device RN for an outpatient cardiology clinic setting, requiring CCDS certification and WA or compact RN licensure.

• Outpatient clinic and peri-operative management setting for cardiac device patients
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Works alongside 1-3 EP Physicians and 1-4 EP APPs
• Manages devices from Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Abbott, and Biotronik
• Uses Epic and Vector device management systems
• Clinic hours are typically Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with staggered 8-hour shift start times
• Floating required between Tacoma and Gig Harbor outpatient clinics
• Permanent staff (Device RN and Device MA) available for support

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BSN not required
• Epic EMR experience beneficial;
  Vector device management system training provided
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

• Responsibilities include device management, post-operative wound checks, remote device monitoring, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
• Orientation includes 2-5 days of general orientation (including Epic) and 1-5 days with a preceptor depending on skills check-off
• Physicians and APPs are approachable and willing to teach
• Device reps are available for support at both clinic locations
• Scrubs required with no specific color preference
• First-time travelers may be considered
