Murray’s Collision Group has been serving the Puget Sound community since 1984. What started as a single shop has grown into a family owned company with six locations across the greater Seattle area, built on a reputation for quality repairs, great culture, and taking care of our people.
Our Burien location opened in February 2026 as a dedicated collision repair shop and is the newest addition to our growing family. We are looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality work and is willing to share their knowledge with two apprentice body techs currently on staff. WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform skilled collision repairs including structural work, aluminum, welding, sheet metal, and metal finishing
- Work alongside and share your knowledge with two apprentice body techs on staff
- Complete QC checklists, DFR processes, and repair procedures per manufacturer specs
- Communicate supplements, repair timelines, and status updates with the estimator and operations manager
- Look up and follow OEM repair procedures (Alldata, RTS, or manufacturer sites) and document accordingly
- Maintain a clean, organized stall and adhere to all safety and hazardous waste protocols
- Participate in daily production meetings and contribute to on-time vehicle delivery
- Proven experience as a skilled collision body technician with expertise in structural repair, panel work, welding, and refinishing prep
- Willingness to work alongside and help develop apprentice technicians
- I-CAR certification or ASE Structural (B4) preferred but not required, we support ongoing training
- Experience with frame and measuring equipment
- Thorough, communicative, and takes ownership of their work
Must provide own tools in working order - Valid Washington State driver’s license with an insurable driving record
