Position: QC Line Technician (Night & Day Shifts Available)

Job Description

NOV in Burkburnett, TX is currently seeking dependable QC Technicians to work in our manufacturing facility. NIGHTS and DAYS available. Shifts are currently scheduled in 2-2-3 pattern: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, becoming 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, and repeating. Days are 7am-7:30pm and Nights are 7pm to 7:30am.

Job Summary

Perform inspection, testing, and documentation activities to ensure finished products and assemblies meet applicable regulatory, customer, and organizational quality requirements while maintaining all safety standards.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, and verify product conformance using visual standards, dimensional tools, and applicable procedures
  • Accept or reject products based on defined quality requirements and specifications
  • Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections as required
  • Complete documentation and maintain accurate quality records in accordance with QMS requirements
  • Identify and segregate nonconforming products and support disposition activities
  • Ensure proper identification and traceability of product throughout inspection processes
  • Support audits, investigations, and corrective actions as assigned
  • Maintain calibration awareness and proper use of measuring and test equipment
  • Follow all applicable work instructions, procedures, and specifications
  • Wear appropriate PPE and comply with all HSE requirements
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, Quality policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant manufacturing or quality experience preferred (typically 1–3 years)
  • Forklift certification (as applicable to facility)
Job Requirements
  • Ability to work in a Factory environment with varying temperatures
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to push/pull as required
  • Travel is less than 10% (if applicable)
