We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Buyer to lead the weekly business level PSI reviews and own the maintenance of the weekly and monthly supply plan for our entire business. You will develop and execute strategic plans to achieve material cost improvements from a global supply base and champion resolution of supplier quality and delivery issues. This role involves partnering with key vendors and internal teams to ensure long‑term supply of critical materials, minimizing disruptions to supply continuity.

• Lead weekly business level PSI reviews alongside commercial counterparts.
• Maintain the weekly and monthly supply plan and reconcile it against demand and sales plans over a 12‑month horizon.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for material cost improvements from a global supply base.
• Champion supplier quality and delivery issues to resolution.
• Partner with key vendors to ensure long‑term supply of critical materials based on demand plans.
• Collaborate with global sourcing teams to elevate supply shortages to executive management.
• Drive synergy and collaboration with other sites within the supply chain teams.
• Utilize company tools and champion continuous improvement initiatives in quality, delivery, and cost.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand expectations, minimizing stock‑outs and maximizing inventory turns.
• Develop tools to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning, and provide insights for executive decision‑making.

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, ideally SAP or Oracle.
• 5+ years of experience with significant data analysis related to supply planning, including data visualization tools.
• 5+ years of experience managing supply chain teams.
• Bachelors Degree is preffered.

• Experience owning supply planning functions, including oversight of inventory levels and collaboration with operations and commercial teams.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic planning efforts (3-18 months).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to influence leadership and other key stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies, including lean conversions.

This position requires on‑site work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, VA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
