We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will create and implement engaging lesson plans, foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment
, and work closely with families to support each child’s growth.
Curriculum & Instruction:
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and Kindergarten TEKS
, emphasizing literacy, mathematics, and inquiry-based learning
.
Classroom Engagement:
Lead engaging, hands-on activities through art centers, technology centers, Spanish, dramatic play, and physical education
.
Social & Emotional Learning:
Implement Sanford Harmony to build classroom community and support students' social-emotional development.
Assessment & Differentiation:
Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction based on individual needs.
Classroom Management:
Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and development.
Family Engagement:
Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and progress updates.
Professional Growth:
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in early childhood best practices.
Education:
CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential
OR an Associate’s (AA/AS) or Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Experience:
2 to 5 years in an early childhood or preschool setting
Knowledge:
Familiarity with Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines, Kindergarten TEKS, and inquiry-based learning approaches
Skills:
Strong classroom management, communication, and lesson planning abilities
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
