Water & Wastewater Operator

H2O Innovation is seeking a new Operator to join our team in Burleson, TX area. Our next colleague will have a full-time & permanent position. In this role, you will accomplish a variety of duties while conducting regular inspection of our plants and supporting water & wastewater treatment projects.

The Day-to-Day

* Ensure the safe, compliant, and consistent operation of all water and wastewater treatment plants.

* Oversee the operation and maintenance of treatment plants and pumping stations in accordance with established standards.

* Conduct regular inspections of the collection and distribution systems as well as the treatment plants.

* Create and initiate work orders for operational servicing and repairs.

* Prepare and manage activity and work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance.

* Order goods and equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records.

* Provide guidance and support to plant team members.

* Communicate with operators, clients, and management regarding any issues that may affect the treatment process, compliance, or public health.

* Support water and wastewater treatment projects by assisting in the development of project plans and SOPs, as well as justifying and executing project requests.

* Foster and maintain positive relationships and communication between operators and customers.

The Skills We Are Looking For

* Minimum Class D License required.

* A CDL is an asset.

* Valid Driver's License required.

* Ability to provide excellent customer service.

* Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn all aspects of the water and wastewater field.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

* Walking & Standing: 4-8 hr/day;

* Bending & Reaching: 4-8 hr/day;

* Pushing & pulling: 4-8 hr/day;

* Driving 4-6 hr/day;

* Physical Effort: does not lift weights more than 100 lbs;

* Environmental Stress: busy atmosphere, working inside and outside.
