Executes core pharmacy technician duties with proficiency in standard workflows, hospital systems, and pharmacy operational programs under pharmacist supervision.;
Compounds sterile medications such as IV solutions and piggyback containers under aseptic conditions, following USP & guidelines and institutional protocols, with appropriate oversight.;
Accurately prepares and safely dispenses patient-specific medication doses, ensuring correct drug, dose, dosage form, expiration dating, and barcode scanning.;
Provides coverage across core pharmacy practice areas, including central/distributive operations, decentralized services, automated dispensing cabinet management, and cleanroom compounding as assigned.;
Assists with inventory management, regulatory compliance, and other operational tasks as needed.
