Caregiver for Adult Male​/Burleson ; RG

Member needs hands-on support due to limited walking, leg swelling, and numbness/weakness in both legs. Caregiver should be comfortable assisting with safe transfers, short-distance ambulation support, and helping the member conserve energy while completing daily routines. Ideal caregiver is patient, safety-focused, and confident with mobility assistance, fall prevention, and providing steady support during standing/walking.

Experience with lower-extremity swelling considerations (e.g., positioning, comfort support) is a plus.

Duties will be based on the member’s service plan and may include:

• Mobility Assistance: support with safe walking, steadying, and fall prevention; assistance with transfers as needed.
• Personal Care (ADLs): bathing assistance, grooming, dressing, toileting support, and hygiene as needed.
• Meal Support: meal prep/cooking, light kitchen clean-up, and ensuring safe access to food/drinks.
• Light Housekeeping: tidying, sweeping/mopping as appropriate, wiping surfaces, taking out trash, and maintaining a safe walkway free of clutter.
• Laundry: washing/drying/folding and putting away clothing/linens as needed.
• Medication Reminders: reminders only (no medication administration).
• Observation & Reporting: monitor for changes in mobility, swelling/comfort, or safety concerns and report to agency per policy.
