HR Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) About The JobThe HR Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position plays a key role in maintaining organized HR operations, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and assisting with the coordination of company events. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, friendly, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment supporting both hourly and salaried associates.

What You'll Do Administrative & Clerical Support- Maintain and organize employee files (digital and physical) in compliance with company policies.
- Assist with onboarding by preparing new hire packets, badges, forms, and orientation materials.
- Maintain HR bulletin boards, announcements, and communication materials.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and executing employee engagement activities and cultural initiatives.
- Support recognition programs, holiday celebrations, appreciation events, and community involvement efforts.
- Help gather employee feedback and support HR in creating a positive and inclusive environment.
- Contribute to the development of creative ideas for morale‑boosting activities and celebrations.
- Assist with coordination of company events, including logistics, supplies, vendors, sign‑in sheets, food orders, and set‑up/cleanup.
- Attend occasional evening events to support logistics when required.
- Manage inventory of event materials, gifts, and promotional items.
- Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance.
- Help prepare HR communications, announcements, and signage. Must be comfortable with Canva and PowerPoint.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all HR interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in administrative, HR, or office support roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels and maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work morning shifts consistently and occasional evenings.
Physical Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- On‑site role in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
- Regular walking, occasional lifting of event supplies (up to 20 lbs), and active participation in event set‑up.
