Information Technology Specialist - Pathway Church

Position Purpose

Manage, maintain, and provide help with multiple computers & servers. Able to assist with telephone needs. We are looking for an IT Specialist who understands that every time they fix a printer issue, set up a projector or clear a VOIP lag, they are spreading the love and grace of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible.

Full Time (Sunday 7am-1pm, Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm)

• Staff Service & Support:
  Act as the primary point of contact for daily technical needs. One will provide professional support for Mac/PC workstations, printers, and mobile devices, ensuring our 40+ staff members stay productive.
• AV Systems Maintenance:
  Support and maintain the church’s display systems. This includes the installation and troubleshooting of TVs, projectors, and signal distribution hardware (HDBaseT, HDbitT, and HDMI over Ethernet).
• Infrastructure Execution:
  Assist in the physical upkeep of the campus network. This includes pulling and terminating CAT6 cabling, maintaining/organizing network cabling/closets, and mounting hardware such as access points and security cameras.
• Communications Support:
  Help maintain and troubleshoot the campus phone system to ensure seamless communication between the church and the community.
• Hardware Stewardship:
  Execute the unboxing, setup, and decommissioning of all hardware assets. Maintain an accurate, real-time inventory to ensure we are wise stewards of all physical gear.
• Campus Readiness:
  Perform regular maintenance checks on all “Front Porch” technology (lobby TVs, check-in kiosks, etc.) to ensure 100% functionality for our mid-week and Sunday operations.

• Maintain mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical health.
• One will be working in a team environment. It will not be a silo position, and you will be hands‑on to ensure we meet goals and move the church forward.
• Baptized in the Christian Faith and demonstrate Christian character.
• High level of trust and dependability, and view the position as a ministry.
• Attend workshops and seminars as needed to enhance skills and remain current.
• Maintain a clean/clear work environment.
• A self‑starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Needs to be ready to support the technology infrastructure for a high‑capacity campus that hosts 1,600 attendees weekly.
• Takes professional pride in the details that others might not see. One believes and find satisfaction in a network that is 100% reliable.
• One speaks “human,” not just “binary.” Can explain a technical solution to a ministry lead with patience and clarity. Thrives in a high‑grace, church/non‑profit environment. Sees one's technical skills as a tool for service and one's teammates as peers to be supported.

• 2-year degree or equivalent experience/training.
• 1-3 years of experience with computer maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Effective interpersonal communication, time management, and organization.
• This is not a “remote support” or an “entry-level” position. We are looking for a technician who can walk onto campus and hit the ground running.
