Maintenance Manager

Position

Champion Home Builders in Burleson, Texas is hiring a Maintenance Manager.

Maintenance managers are pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and asset longevity. Their role combines technical proficiency, strategic planning, team leadership, financial oversight, and compliance management to maintain smooth operations and minimize disruptions across an organization.

• Operational Oversight
  :
  Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facilities operate reliably and minimize downtime. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, inspect equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to prevent failures and extend asset lifespan.
• Team Leadership
  :
  Supervise and train maintenance staff, delegate tasks, manage workflow, and promote a culture of safety and efficiency. Conduct performance evaluation, coaching, and skill development.
• Strategic Planning
  :
  Develop maintenance procedures, schedules, and strategies to optimize operational efficiency. Track asset conditions, plan for upgrades or replacements, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Financial Management
  :
  Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenses, evaluate cost-effectiveness of repair versus replacements, and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination
  :
  Liaise with external vendors, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
• Safety and Compliance
  :
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols, such as Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out, confined space procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Administrative Duties
  :
  Maintain records of maintenance activities, track work orders, manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, and implement maintenance management systems to monitor performance and schedule tasks.

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance management.
• High school education or GED equivalent required.
• Some college, CRMP, or CMM preferred.
• ANSI knowledge a plus.
