Pouch Machine Operator

Day Shift 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

ABOUT

THE ROLE

To properly operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment to support safe, efficient production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Operate multiple packaging systems (W25-1/2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, 12-up, 6-up fillers).

* Load film carts and rolls correctly; monitor and adjust for continuous operation.

* Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, labels, date coding).

* Adjust machine settings to maintain target product weights.

* Execute standard changeovers with team members to limit downtime.

* Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting independently.

* Document production data (inspection logs, downtime records, metal detection results).

* Clean, rinse, and sanitize equipment using COP (Clean Out of Place) and CIP (Clean In Place) methods.

* Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout; identify emergency stops and pinch points.

* Maintain compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range (Base Pay): $22.00/hr.

- $24.95/hr.

Other Compensation:
May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
