Pouch Machine OperatorNight Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
AboutThe Role
To properly operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment to support safe, efficient production.
What You’ll Do- Operate pouch machines and related equipment (W25-1 & 2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, fillers)
- Load film carts and execute proper film roll installation
- Perform lockout/tagout and follow all safety and food safety procedures
- Adjust weights and settings to maintain product specifications
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Complete production paperwork, downtime logs, and metal detection records
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment (CIP/COP)
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- High school diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years of related manufacturing or production experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to work on your feet for most of the shift and regularly bend, reach, lift, carry, and move materials, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced production environment with noise, moisture, moving equipment, and required protective gear.
- Basic reading, writing, communication, problem‑solving, and math skills to follow instructions and complete production paperwork.
- Willingness to use required tools, equipment, and safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine operation systems.
Pay Range (Base Pay): $22.00/hr – $24.95/hr.
Other Compensation:
May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
