Welder and Fabricator – Be a Champion!

Champion Home Builders Burleson is looking for a skilled technician with working experience in chassis and regular fabrication, welding, and customization. The Welder / Fabricator is responsible for independently completing common fabrication and repair tasks while supporting the overall Production and Maintenance teams.

You will learn how to lay out a chassis and assemble it per our DAPIA requirement. There are multiple jobs set forth in preparing for the following day, from cutting stack to prepping hitch plates. The right employee will be shown how to use a bridge crane and all other tools properly.

• Perform all manual labor in the area assigned
• Read blueprints and orders
• Communicate well within departments and leadership
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
• Welding, wiring, and painting of chassis and other fabricated items

• 3–5 years of previous experience in welding desired
