Employee will be responsible for inspecting, weighing and documenting all raw materials for each batch.
- Assemble/Disassemble equipment needed for ingredient preparation.
- Set up and calibrate scales.
- Inspect Ingredients for cleanliness, accuracy, integrity, allergens and ingredient label.
- Properly weigh and prepare ingredients according to SOP and batch sheets.
- Label v-mags and barrels with ingredients, weight, batch information.
- Complete batch sheets with weights and ingredient lot information.
- Additional responsibilities as instructed by Production Line Lead or Production Supervisor.
- Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Be able to stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time.
- Be able to lift 50-60 lbs.; scoop and shovel ingredients.
- Be able to work in cold or hot, wet environment for 8-10 hour shifts.
- Basic literacy (English) and math skills (use of calculator).
- Operate pallet jack training required.
- Allergen training required.
- Chemical training required if handling sanitation chemicals.
May be required to assist in kitchen and/or grinding room to prepare ingredients as requested.
