Prep Room Lead - 1st Shift Line

Position: Prep Room Lead - 1st Shift Line 1
Role and Responsibilities Employee will be responsible for inspecting, weighing and documenting all raw materials for each batch.

Assemble/Disassemble equipment needed for ingredient preparation.

Set up and calibrate scales.

Inspect Ingredients for cleanliness, accuracy, integrity, allergens and ingredient label.

Properly weigh and prepare ingredients according to SOP and batch sheets.

Label v-mags and barrels with ingredients, weight, batch information.

Complete batch sheets with weights and ingredient lot information.

Additional responsibilities as instructed by Production Line Lead or Production Supervisor.

Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines.

Skills and requirements HS Diploma or  able to stand, bend and lift for extended periods of  able to lift 50-60 lbs.; scoop and shovel  able to work in cold or hot, wet environment for 8-10 hour shifts.

Basic literacy (English) and math skills (use of calculator).Operate pallet jack training required.

Allergen training required.

Chemical training required if handling sanitation chemicals.

Additional Notes May be required to assist in kitchen and/or grinding room to prepare ingredients as requested.
