Staffing Coordinator, Nursing

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to manage daily staffing operations for our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is critical to ensuring safe staffing levels, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care. The ideal candidate has prior SNF or healthcare staffing experience
, understands 24/7 staffing needs

• Coordinate daily staffing for nursing and ancillary departments (CNAs, LVNs/LPNs, RNs)

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels in compliance with state regulations and facility acuity

• Manage call‑outs, schedule changes, and emergency staffing coverage

• Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and administration

• Coordinate use of agency staffing as needed and monitor utilization

• Maintain accurate schedules and staffing records

• Assist with payroll verification related to staffing hours

• Support PBJ reporting and staffing data tracking as assigned

• Participate in on‑call rotation (if applicable)

• SNF or healthcare staffing experience preferred

• Experience scheduling nursing staff in a 24/7 environment

• Strong understanding of CNA/LVN/RN roles and staffing ratios

• Proficiency with scheduling and payroll systems (e.g., Apploi, OnShift, Schedule
  360, Kronos, etc.)

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to staffing changes

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare administration background a plus
