Work hours:
Part time, 24 hours weekly, 2-12 hours shifts, Rotating 11 A and 3 P shift Department Highlights 10-bed emergency department Located about 15 miles south of downtown Ft. Worth Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week Full-service ED with highly qualified nursing staff Providing care for a wide variety of patients from neonate, pediatric and seniors covering an array of illnesses and injuries Enjoy self-scheduling to help with work/life balance.

Here's what you need:
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS – within 90 days of hire required PALS – within 90 days of hire required or ENPC – within 12 months of hire required NIHSS – within 90 days of hire required TNCC or ATCN – within 12 months of hire required CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire 1-year clinical nursing experience or completion of an RN residency program required ED experience strongly preferred In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• assesses the patient
• plans the care of the patient
• intervenes as appropriate
• evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
