Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital is a privately owned, 24-hour emergency-only small animal hospital looking for Veterinary Technicians to join our team.
We have a strong, supportive culture and a leadership team that values our technicians and the important role they play in patient care. We are a technician-driven hospital where team members are encouraged to use their skills, continue learning, and take an active role in emergency medicine.
Responsibilities- Inpatient and outpatient emergency care
- Patient assessments and treatments
- Laboratory and diagnostic procedures
- Medication administration and drug calculations
- Surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery
- Medical record documentation
- Client communication and service
- Supporting veterinarians and fellow team members
- Maintaining hospital standards and patient care areas
We're looking for dependable, motivated technicians who work well in a fast-paced environment and value teamwork, communication, and quality patient care.
Veterinary Technician licensure is preferred but not required.

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician who is confident working in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Qualifications- Minimum 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Strong venipuncture and IV catheter placement skills
- Experience with triage and prioritizing emergency patients
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical technician experience
- Patient monitoring, treatment, and recovery
- Radiology and in-house laboratory skills
- Medication administration and drug calculations
- Accurate medical record documentation
- Strong client communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work well under pressure
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Emergency, surgery, and critical care experience preferred.
