Member Services Associate responsible for greeting members, operating front‑end equipment, handling member transactions, maintaining the checkout area, and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment. Provides guidance on self‑service technology and participates in training and continuous improvement.

• Provide member service, greet and verify membership cards, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Operate checkout equipment, process payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout and entrance/exit areas, including safety sweeps and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Zone and organize merchandise, manage inventory, and identify shrink or damage.
• Assist with securing Sam's Club assets, monitor for potential criminal activity, and maintain required documentation.
• Participate in training and rollout of new programs, technologies, and tools to frontline associates.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics, using the Open Door Policy and maintaining integrity and compliance.
• Communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change, difficulty, and feedback.
• Work as a team, mentor peers, and create an inclusive workplace that supports belonging and development.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Working knowledge of mobile retail applications.

• Experience with self‑service technology and new retail tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.
