What you’ll do- Be a Team Member:
Collaborate with associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and flex to business needs, including work in other areas. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrate knowledge of floor and back‑room operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat, maintain product quality. - Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. - Be an Owner:
Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies, ensure quality and date control for meat products, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area, modeling high‑quality service and products, exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion. - Comply with company policies and ethics by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business processes.
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; determine priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00, with the actual rate meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
