Shop Service Technician- Burleson, TX

Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician will be based in Burleson, TX, and will support Terex’s expanding service network across the United States. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

• Follow Terex safety policies and procedures.
• Work on a wide array of equipment, including truck‑mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks, and cranes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to team members.
• Meet or exceed annual training requirements for self‑development.
• Utilize current technology to support everyday work functions.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment.
• Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery‑operated impact gun).
• Willingness to submit for pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
• 5+ years in a similar field (preferred).

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with utility‑type equipment and brands such as Genie and/or JLG.
• Extensive knowledge of Terex products (e.g., Hi‑Ranger, Telelect).
• Fluid Power Society certification (desired).
• Ability to work in a team‑based, safety‑focused workplace.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Stand on concrete for 8+ hours per shift.
• Climb ladders and move over and under vehicles.
• Tolerate moderate heights.
