Job Summary

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader specializing in container board and corrugated packaging, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Associate to join their finance department supporting the accounting and payroll functions.

• Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Job Type: Temporary – Full Time

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records by posting entries to the general ledger.
• Verify, balance, and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including preparing batch payments.
• Audit and collect accounts receivable transactions, making necessary adjustments.
• Support weekly payroll processing and assist in month-end financial closings.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a business office or accounting role.
• Experience with accounting software handling accounts payable and general ledger.
• Solid understanding of accounting procedures and computer systems such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
