About Our Company Big Deal Outlet is a rapidly growing retail establishment with locations in Utah and Idaho. We focus on liquidating products that cannot be sold through regular retail channels. This includes, scratch and dent, overstock, customer returns, and salvage consumer products. About the Job The Assistant Manager helps manage the day-to-day operations of Big Deal Outlet. This person is an energetic, self-starter who is interested in managing a great team. You will assist the Store’s General Manager manage a team of 7 – 13 employees, along with assisting the complete responsibility of store operations.

Requirements

What You Will Do:

Recruiting Continual employee training

Shift scheduling

Gaining a deep understanding of the companies Point of Sale (POS) system

Resolve customer and employee grievances

Daily opening and closing procedures

Cash handling, and other responsibilities pertaining to the day-to-day operations of a retail establishment

All other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

High school Diploma or equivalent

Strong relationship management skills

Highly organized and able to communicate effectively

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to use good judgment

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel a plus)
Ability to stay productive unsupervised

Professional in appearance and standards

Positive attitude

Ability to motivate, change, and lead others to success

Work varied shifts, including Saturdays and holidays

Strong verbal and written communication skills

What You Will

Experience:

Work is generally performed in a retail store environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

Stand or sit for long periods of time

Use a computer to enter data Communicate with stakeholders to understand needs

Perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement

Feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.

Move objects up to 10 lbs. (Must be able to frequently move/lift objects up to 25 lbs. in weight. May occasionally move/lift an object up to 50 lbs. in weight)
