Job Overview
We are looking for an Escrow Assistant to support the Escrow Department by handling customer service and administrative duties associated with residential real‑estate closings. The role may involve general team support or partnership with an escrow officer.
Responsibilities- Open orders and prepare closing statement information.
- Prepare documents for closing and manage disbursement of escrow funds.
- Follow up on all escrow transactions.
- Communicate requirements and other information to clients.
- Interpret agreements related to closing and compile required documents.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
- 2+ years of experience in an escrow‑related role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service, problem‑solving, organizational and detail orientation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company/client operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret agreements and manage confidential information.
- Hourly pay range: $24.30 – $33.30 (Los Angeles County), or $22.16 – $29.56 (other locations).
