Job Overview

We are continuously building a pipeline of talented Academic Coaches and Mentors who may be considered for future opportunities within Cardinal Education. These roles may include subject‑specific coaching and mentorship such as Math, Sciences, Humanities, Anthropology, Political Science, Creative Writing, and other academic disciplines. Opportunities may also include test preparation coaching, including but not limited to SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, and other standardized exams.

In these roles, you will work closely with students to strengthen academic performance, build effective study habits, and develop confidence, independence, and motivation in learning. This is an evergreen posting, meaning we accept applications on an ongoing basis and connect with qualified candidates when suitable opportunities become available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 or small group coaching in specific academic subjects or test prep areas
  • Supporting students in developing study skills, time management, and organizational strategies
  • Guiding students in academic planning and goal‑setting
  • Mentoring students to improve confidence, motivation, and learning mindset
  • Collaborating with internal teams and/or parents to track student progress
  • Adapting teaching and coaching approaches based on individual learning needs
  • Contributing to academic resources or curriculum support when needed
Qualifications
  • Experienced in teaching, tutoring, academic coaching, or mentoring students (K–12 or college level preferred)
  • Strong communicators who can build rapport with students and families
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to motivate learners effectively
  • Flexible and comfortable working across different academic subjects and learning needs
  • Organized and dependable in managing sessions and tracking progress
