Location: Burlingame, CA
Compensation: Up to $150,000 base + 20% Monthly Performance Bonus + $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | 24/7 Operation

About the RoleWe’re looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our transportation operations in the San Francisco Bay Area, supporting activities at SFO, OAK, and SJC airports. This is a high-impact leadership role based out of Burlingame, CA, overseeing a large team of up to 90 drivers across multiple locations in a 24/7/365 operation.

Key Responsibilities- Lead & Inspire: Supervise, motivate, and support a team of 85–90 drivers. Build a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure safe, on-time, and efficient crew transportation services every day.
- Manage the Chaos: Solve daily operational issues quickly and effectively. No two days are alike.
- Engage & Develop Talent: Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and promote from within.
- Customer-Focused Leadership: Be the face of Sky Hop for our airline partners. Respond to client needs and elevate service quality.
- Enforce Safety & Compliance: Ensure DOT and company regulations are strictly followed. Lead audits, inspections, and documentation accuracy.
- Own the Metrics: Monitor KPIs and performance trends. Implement data-driven improvements and report directly to senior leadership.
- 5+ years of operational leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven success managing large teams (50+ employees) in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
- High level of comfort with hands-on, field-based leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills—internally and externally.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety practices.
- Tech-savvy with scheduling, reporting, and dispatch systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Up to $150,000 annual base salary (commensurate with experience)
- Up to 20% monthly performance bonus
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
