Position Summary

Senior Director, Head of Shareholder Advisory is the operational head of the Shareholder Advisory team, responsible for ensuring exceptional execution and service to clients and their professionals. The role collaborates with other SRS Acquiom departments to provide SRSA products and services efficiently.

Location: This role can be hybrid and based in any SRSA office in Denver, Minneapolis, New York or San Francisco. Remote candidates may be considered with up to 20% travel per year.

Salary: The salary range for this position is between $220k and $250k, depending on experience level.

Primary Responsibilities

As Senior Director, Head of Shareholder Advisory, you would serve as the business manager for the Shareholder Advisory function within Professional Services, with responsibility for personnel development, budgeting, and strategic structuring.

This role owns the operational success of four primary functions: claims management, accounting, tax advisory, and project management. You will ensure profitability and long‑term growth of revenue-driving functions while aligning day-to-day operations with broader business objectives.

You will lead, coach, hire, and develop members of the Shareholder Advisory team to drive strong performance and engagement. Foster continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, client experience, and revenue performance. Collaborate with Advisory team members and cross‑functional partners to deliver SRSA products and services at the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Evaluate and establish performance metrics, define and monitor operational controls, assign tasks to ensure workload balance, and maintain common standards across key processes. Partner with stakeholders to maintain and enhance technology tools used to manage deals and client relationships. Identify opportunities to improve controls, efficiency, profitability, and growth within the Advisory team and support the expansion of the Shareholder Representation product.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Post‑Graduate degree from an accredited law or accounting program
  • At least 10 years of experience in an active legal or accounting practice
  • Admission to the bar (JD equivalent) or credentialed accounting program (CPA equivalent) of any U.S. state or equivalent in the United Kingdom, Commonwealth, or European Union
  • Proven affinity towards actively seeking solutions when none are readily evident
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Extremely detail oriented with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ownership mindset with accountability and solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
