Sisters of Mercy of the Americas

Full-Time | Non-Exempt (30+ Hours Weekly)

Pay Range: $42.00 – $57.00 per hour

The Sisters of Mercy of the Americas is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Wellness Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing care and support the health and well‑being of our Sister residents. This leadership role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating care services, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate resident nursing care and clinical case management
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community partners to support quality care
  • Supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, training, evaluations, and performance support
  • Provide direct nursing care as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care planning
  • Respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations
  • Foster a respectful, team‑oriented care environment
Qualifications
  • Active RN License in the State of California
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with older adults
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on‑call responsibilities
Preferred
  • Experience in long‑term care or community‑based care settings
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources
  • Appreciation for the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy and Catholic traditions
