OLIPOP is hiring a Quality Specialist for Vendor Compliance, based in Burlingame, California. The role covers supplier quality and ingredient documentation for a fast-growing beverage producer, and the skill set maps closely onto quality work in any drinks production business.

You will hold the supplier approval and ingredient documentation that underpins compliance, working across procurement, R&D and regulatory teams as new suppliers and ingredients are onboarded.

• Maintain supplier approval records, ingredient documentation and compliance records supporting supplier qualification.
• Partner with procurement, R&D and regulatory on supplier onboarding, vendor approvals and ingredient changes.
• Evaluate suppliers and ingredients using risk-based assessments, and implement controls and monitoring.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics, maintain scorecards and support corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier quality investigations including root cause analysis and documentation review.
• Visit supplier facilities as needed to verify systems meet quality standards.
• Review ingredient specifications and certificates of analysis to support ingredient release, and maintain a library of ingredient retains for traceability.

• Three to five years in quality assurance, supplier quality, quality systems or food safety within food and beverage.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation including ingredient specifications and COAs.
• High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and strong written communication.
