Looking for a food service role in a calm, respectful, mission‑driven environment? Where your work directly supports a small residential community—not a high‑volume public facility? This is not a restaurant or hospital cafeteria. This is the Sisters of Mercy Convent and Mercy Center, a private campus serving retired Sisters. We are not open to the public, offering a peaceful, organized, and relationship‑based environment focused on dignity, hospitality, and service.

• Set up, serve, and break down meal service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms, dish rooms, and food service areas
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed
• Support special events, retreats, and catering needs
• Follow sanitation, food safety, and fire safety procedures
  
  Interact respectfully with residents, guests, and coworkers

• At least one year of food service experience or related training
• Valid Food Handler’s Card (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Service-oriented, dependable, and team-focused

• High school diploma or GED
• Good communication skills in English
