Leasing Agent & Business Development Lead

Our company is hiring for a position on our brokerage and property management team. We are a boutique real estate firm based in Burlingame, CA, specializing in both residential and commercial properties throughout the Bay Area. With over 35 years of local experience, we pride ourselves on combining deep market knowledge with personalized, full-service representation for owners and tenants alike.

This is a hybrid role with both in-office and remote flexibility.

Job Responsibilities Leasing & Internal Coordination
  • Manage the full leasing process for residential and commercial units, including marketing, showings, tenant screening, lease negotiation, and move-in coordination.
  • Maintain accurate listings and photos across Buildout, Zillow, and App Folio.
  • Coordinate with the property management team and internal staff on unit readiness, rent pricing, and lease renewals.
  • Track leasing activity, inquiries, and conversions through internal systems.
Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify and pursue new property management opportunities, including outreach to local landlords, investors, and developers.
  • Generate brokerage and sales leads through prospecting, networking, and referral outreach.
  • Conduct owner outreach campaigns via email, phone, and targeted follow-up to grow the management and leasing portfolio.
  • Track all outreach, leads, and conversions in company CRM and provide regular updates to leadership.
Strategic & Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal team members to improve operational efficiency and workflow.
  • Support ownership with business development reporting and ongoing growth initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or property management.
  • Proven ability in business development, client outreach, or lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of local rental markets and fair housing laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy: proficiency with Buildout, Zillow, App Folio, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Loop Net, Constant Contact, and social media marketing is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation for showings and site visits.
