Position

Summary

The Class A Mechanic performs advanced diagnostics, repairs, inspections, alignments, road tests, and component installations on TEMSA coaches. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent work capability, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicle systems and components
  • Perform coach inspections, alignments, road tests, and parts installation
  • Provide in-shop and field service as needed
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment effectively
  • Identify and communicate additional service needs
  • Complete accurate service documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Support and mentor technicians as needed
  • Participate in required technical training
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of Class A Mechanic experience (or technical school plus experience)
  • Meet TNA Service A Technician standards
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in component removal, installation, and reconditioning per technical manuals
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening
