PositionSummary
The Class A Mechanic performs advanced diagnostics, repairs, inspections, alignments, road tests, and component installations on TEMSA coaches. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent work capability, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicle systems and components
- Perform coach inspections, alignments, road tests, and parts installation
- Provide in-shop and field service as needed
- Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment effectively
- Identify and communicate additional service needs
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Support and mentor technicians as needed
- Participate in required technical training
- Minimum 3 years of Class A Mechanic experience (or technical school plus experience)
- Meet TNA Service A Technician standards
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in component removal, installation, and reconditioning per technical manuals
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
