Job Details
Position: Japanese Bilingual Import/Export Coordinator
Industry: Logistics
Location: Burlingame, CA
Salary: $24-27/hr
Status: Full Time

- Negotiating booking rates, inputting data into computer system regarding shipments
- Handling Customs paperwork
- Processing and sending all necessary documentation to the proper locations to facilitate Customs clearance; and by processing payment and initiating billing procedures on each file
- Performing traces to assure on‑time delivery of freight to all customers
- Reporting on all customer incidents quickly to eliminate problems
- Experience in logistics or/and import/export operation is a big plus.
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent experience
- Japanese language proficiency is a big plus
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and/or government regulations in English
- Must be able to use a computer and such applications as Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
