Full-Stack Software Engineer

Quadric has created an innovative general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. Quadric's co-optimized software and hardware is targeted to run neural network inference workloads across a variety of edge and endpoint devices, from battery-operated smart-sensor systems to high-performance automotive or autonomous vehicle systems. Unlike other NPUs that accelerate only part of a machine-learning graph, the Quadric GPNPU executes both NN graph code and conventional C++ DSP and control code.

The Full-Stack Engineer is key to making the Quadric product and toolchain easily accessible and usable via a web platform (also known as "Dev Studio"). This role will implement new features for the web platform in collaboration with Business Development, Product, and other Engineering teams; help debug and fix issues in the web platform and relay toolchain issues to the appropriate Engineering team.

The position requires exceptional technical depth, strong coding capabilities, and advanced troubleshooting skills to successfully build the platform around Quadric's toolchain and product requirements. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical mastery of advanced concepts for building and operating complex systems, including distributed services, failure recovery, and proper system telemetry and observability techniques.

• Take product requirements and implement features or systems to satisfy those requirements
• Provide web platform support to field application engineers worldwide
• Create detailed technical documentation and application notes for new web platform features
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap based on customer needs
• Help troubleshoot complex toolchain issues and develop solutions in collaboration with other Engineering teams

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working on full-stack web applications
• Expert knowledge in Golang
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis caching systems
• Experience describing, building, running, and deploying Docker containers
• Experience with Linux or Unix-based operating systems
• Experience building distributed systems
• Experience maintaining hosting infrastructure
• Basic design ability, including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
• Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5) and third-party libraries (ReactJS)
• Solid understanding of intermediate Git concepts such as branching, rebasing, merge conflict resolution, etc.
• Ability to methodically debug problems, relay information to other engineering teams, and test and deploy changes to the web platform

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Nomad scheduler and orchestrator
• Experience developing desktop or CLI applications
• Experience managing self-hosted bare-metal compute resources
• Knowledge of high-level AI concepts
